“Young Entrepreneurs in New Europe 2019”, a 5 day educational camp and networking event in Gothenburg Sweden

Four members from the Georgian Women’s Action Group participated in ‘Young Entrepreneurs in New Europe 2019’ in Gothenburg Sweden – a 5 day educational camp and networking event. Two members attended from Toronto (Eto Elizbarashvili and Tika Gagua) and two from Tbilisi (Keti Gvazava and Tatia Baramidze).

GW Action Group thanks our generous hosts (and Swedish Partner organization) NTI Gymnasiet Göteborg, ntigymnasiet.se, with special thanks to the Youth Program Manager, Dennis Larsen, for his personal effort and commitment. The event serves to connect youth from New Europe, Africa and Americas through education of the principles of entrepreneurship, business management skills training and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The host organization provides an optimal learning environment within a beautiful venue and, most importantly, certified training in Business Planning as conducted by the faculty of Oxford Brooks School of Business.

This is a unique opportunity that GW Action Group offers its members as part of the organization’s mission to support the professional development of young women, through education and knowledge transferring. We are excited to promote networking for social change among young women, whose generation is considered the most informed, educated, and connected one in human history. YEE promotes and connects the globe’s most impactful young leaders to create a better world – one that includes a more responsible and effective entrepreneurship and leadership. We genuinely thank all the organizers and applicants who made this project a reality and, not in the least, the participants for their motivation, willingness and commitment of time (during the short summer season!) of five transformative days of panels, group assignments, speeches and workshops.

Coming Soon: GW Action group will soon be opening online applications for Canadian and Georgian youth who wish to participate in these two events: the Young Atlanticist Summit organized by the UN Atlantic Council and the Annual International Event – One Young World Summit that will take place this October 2019.

The annual One Young World Summit will convene the brightest young talent from every country and sector in an aim to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries will be counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures. The agenda is shaped by the One Young World Community through the Global Consultation Process, ensuring maximum relevance to the issues affecting young people. As well as listening to keynote speakers, the Delegates will have the opportunity to challenge, interact and be mentored by world leaders.

GW Action Group will support the applicants regarding the process of applicant submission, and after receiving the approval they will provide logistics and administrative guidance re: planning the visit, accommodation, airfare and food.
